Overview
Coordinate insurance verification, authorization tracking, and billing support to help families access ABA services smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Verify insurance benefits and document coverage details
- Track authorization requests, renewals, and payer follow-ups
- Support billing workflows and resolve claim-related questions
- Communicate clearly with families regarding coverage and next steps
- Partner with client services and clinical teams on intake handoffs
Qualifications
- Healthcare billing, insurance, or revenue cycle experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication with families and payers
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and practice management tools
Preferred Experience
- ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy billing experience
- Familiarity with Virginia Medicaid and commercial ABA coverage
